Gallery-formal to personal: rebranding Lusky
Reshaping a fine artist's brand and social presence through storytelling, a five-pillar content strategy, and more personal, trend-driven content.

The challenge
A feed that felt like a catalog
Lusky's Instagram read like a gallery catalog: formal, polished, and distant. The work was strong, but followers had no real connection to the artist behind it, and the feed gave them little reason to engage beyond admiring the pieces.

What I did
Strategy and execution
- Built a content strategy: created five pillars (awareness, educational, promotional, entertainment, and community) to guide every post.
- Created posts and reels: made process videos, story-driven content, and trend-based formats.
- Rewrote the brand voice: shifted captions from formal to casual and personal.
- Promoted events: created content for his art shows and plastering classes.
- Set him up for the handoff: created a brand guide and content calendar so he could keep the brand consistent on his own.

Strategy
A content system built to sell
Each pillar plays a role in moving followers from discovering his work to buying it.
Brand
From catalog to connection
Between June and October, the feed moved from formal gallery shots to a mix of finished work, process, and Lusky himself, with captions in his own voice.

Content
The new feed

Finished pieces shown the way a buyer would see them.
A trending format adapted to show his work.

A look at the person behind the work.
Lusky on the moment art became more than a hobby.
Takeaway
People buy into the artist
A formal feed showed what Lusky made, but not who he was. Bringing in trends, behind-the-scenes moments, and his own voice gave people a reason to follow along, and made the work easier to connect with.← All case studies
